Hello, my name is Jenna and I am a BACP registered counsellor working with adults in Edinburgh and East Lothian. I provide low-cost counselling through face to face sessions as well as online via Zoom and through telephone calls. I offer a friendly, professional and confidential service to help you explore the difficulties you are experiencing. I am a pluralistic counsellor, I set up the foundations of my approach using person-centred theory, and together we will work together to tailor the sessions to your needs.

Pluralistic Counselling

I am a pluralistic counsellor, this means that I am trained in different counselling approaches. Pluralistic counselling is based on the idea that everyone is unique, and counselling should be moulded to benefit the clients needs.

I set the foundations of my counselling practice in the Person-Centred Approach. The Person-Centred Approach is rooted in the belief that all people are good and strive for personal growth and given the right conditions (empathy, non-judgement and acceptance) a person can process their emotions and be their authentic selves. I aim to offer these conditions as best as I can during our relationship.

During our sessions, I will listen attentively to your situation and help you discover the answers within yourself. My aim is to provide you with an environment that facilitates understanding, acceptance and growth.

The first initial session is free of charge, thereafter it is:

£35 for a 50 minute Face-to-Face, Online or Telephone session.

Online sessions are offered via Zoom.

Online and Telephone Counselling

Online and Telephone counselling is similar to face-to-face counselling, and offers a different way for you to engage in counselling from the comfort of your own home.

You choose the time, the place and the pace of your counselling to suit your needs.

Online and Telephone counselling can be beneficial if you desire a greater sense of anonymity, feel nervous about talking through your thoughts and feelings, and if you are looking for a more convenient way of accessing counselling.

About Me Picture

About Me

I became a counsellor because I recognised the value of having a space where you could be truly listened to without the worry of being judged and being accepted for who you are.

I began my journey of becoming a counsellor because I want to be able to give someone that space, help them process their feelings and worries, and watch them grow.

I enjoy listening to peoples stories and connecting with them on an emotional level. I enjoy helping people find their voice and taking steps to begin taking control over their lives again.
